Project scope
The North Gate Security Lining Works included repainting faded white road markings at the North and South Gate entrances, installing double red lines on both sides of College Drive, and refreshing the existing North Gate zebra crossings. The team also repainted dashed white lines, centre lines and give-way markings to provide clear guidance for drivers and pedestrians.
Clear, professional campus markings
The completed markings created a clean, consistent finish across the campus access routes. The work included directional arrows, road text, zebra crossings, traffic-control markings and entrance layouts, with the programme arranged around the client’s requirements to minimise disruption.
Durable thermoplastic markings for a busy campus
Campus access routes need to remain easy to understand for drivers, pedestrians and service vehicles. This project combined double red lines, give-way markings, centre lines, arrows and zebra crossings to create a consistent system across the North and South Gate approaches and College Drive.
Thermoplastic was selected to provide a hard-wearing, highly visible finish for the external road surfaces. The material cools quickly after application, helping each completed area return to use without unnecessary delay. Work was arranged around the campus requirements so entrances, crossings and access routes could be completed while minimising disruption.
The finished layout provides clear information at each campus approach. Drivers can identify traffic directions, stopping restrictions and crossing points, while pedestrians benefit from renewed zebra crossings and more visible separation from vehicle routes.
